Here, you find some of the most captivating mountainous landscape in the world, bustling typical subcontinental cities, colorful bazars, and welcoming inhabitants. Even an avid traveler, who has been to many parts of the world, could easily get ecstatic by the exploits of such a point. This tour has been designed prudently after analyzing the political ups and downs of the area. Most areas in Pakistan, particularly up in Gilgit Baltistan, pose no risk within the present situation.
On this tour you’ll get to appreciate it all as you travel on an in-depth expedition from the prairies through the highlands of the Gilgit Baltistan; from the Babusar Pass and Hunza Valley to the high-altitude Khunjerab Pass; from the dreamlike sceneries of Skardu to the soaring Nanga Parbat and grandiose Rakaposhi in Hunza; and from the forts of Baltit, this is a journey that gives you everything. With great strolls, stimulating historic locations and intriguing human culture this is a trip that has it all.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Tour starts in Islamabad
Arrival at Islamabad airport and we will have an introduction to the Pakistani capital of Islamabad and visit the Faisal Mosque and Heritage Museum. (subject to your flight arrival timing)
Day 2: Islamabad – Chilas (480 km and 14 hours’ drive)
Early morning departure for Chilas – en route you will stop at some places for washroom and eating – you will travel along the Karakorum Highway from Hassanabadal. You will see mighty Indus at Thahkot. Some of the more important towns and cities are Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, Besham, Dassu and Pattan before you reach Chilas for an overnight stay. Chilas is most used as an overnight stop to cut short the long distances.
Day 3: Chilas – Gilgit (130 km and 3 hours’ drive)
Our journey today will continue through the Indus Valley, but we shall leave the Indus at Jaglot and travel along Gilgit River.
En route we stop at Tatta Pani, Thalechi Nanga Parbat View Point, Junction of the three mountain ranges and a walk through the bazaar of Gilgit will give an idea of how these areas are interwoven.
Later drive to Kargah Buddha on the outskirts of Gilgit city before heading back to your hotel in Gilgit town
Day 4: Gilgit - Karimabad Hunza (105 km)
Drive to Karimabad Hunza and en route stop at various points to see the blossom and take pictures
One of the highlights of the day would be to stop at Rakaposhi View Point at Ghulmet Nagar
Walk around Karimabad, the main town of Hunza valley and visit Baltit Fort before embarking on an exciting along one of the water channels to experience the blossom of thousands of apricot trees in the valley. Visits to Altit and Ganish Villages are equally exciting.
Morning drive to Gilgit enroute stop at Rakaposhi View Point and later visit Kargah Buddha on the outskirts of Gilgit city before heading back to your hotel
Day 5: Karimabad Hunza – Nagar Valley - Karimabad
Drive across the river to see the other side of the valley for apricot blossom – overnight stay in Karimabad
Day 6 Karimabad – Hunza – Birgal Ishkoman Valley (300 km and 5 hours’ drive)
Morning drive to Ishkoman via Gilgit – Ishkokan Valley is perhaps one of the most beautiful valleys but least visited by the tourists. Its flora and fauna is very rich and its people are very friendly. Overnight stay at Birgal Ishkoman Valley.
Day 7: Karimabad
Another full day in Karimabad Hunza to explore the villages of Duikar Eagle’s Nest, Altit Village and Upper Hunza with adventures like crossing Husseini Suspension Bridge and walk around the town of Gulmit towards Ghulkin via Kamaris Village
Day 8: Karimabad – Gupis (220 km)
Morning drive to Gupis via Gilgit and en route stops at multiple points to take photos
Some of the places en route are Hanzel Stupa, Goharabad, Singal, Gahkuch and Gupis
Day 9: Gupis – Phandar - Gupis
Explore the area for blossom towards Phander and take a walk around majestic Phandar Lake before you come back to Gupis for overnight stay
Day 10 Gupis to Ishkoman (150 km)
Morning at Gupis and later drive to Ishkoman across Gilgit River to explore more beautiful villages and hamlets to see the blossom – night in Ishkoman
Day 11 Ishkoman – Gilgit (150 km)
Morning at Ishkoman and late afternoon drive to Gilgit with en route stops at smaller villages
Day 12 Gilgit to Skardu (220 km; 10 hours’ drive)
Morning drive to Skardu and at Jaglot you cross the river and after a brief sop at the junction point of three great mountain ranges, you travel along mighty Indus to east.
Special Note: The drive takes longer as the work on the widening of the road to Skardu is in progress. You stop at multiple points before you arrive in Skardu,
Day 13 Skardu – Khaplu – Skardu
Full day excursion to Khaplu and late afternoon you drive back to Skardu
Day 14 Skardu – Islamabad
Morning transfer to Skardu airport for Islamabad bound flight and if you fly, you will visit Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
In case you are unable to fly due to some reasons, you travel by road to Besham (350 km and 14 hours; drive approximately). Then you will drive to Islamabad next day and transferred to Islamabad airport directly to catch your homebound flight.
Day 15 Islamabad out
Transfer to Islamabad airport or drive from Besham to Islamabad (270 km and about 8 hours) and drop at the airport.
